Laminar is a free and open-source client-server tool for managing virtual networks. It allows users to create, configure, and manage virtual networks easily. In this tutorial, we will learn how to install Laminar on NetBSD.
Open the terminal on your NetBSD machine.
Update the package index with the following command:
# pkgin update
Install the dependencies needed for building Laminar:
# pkgin install gmake gcc pkg-config libtool
Download the latest version of Laminar from the official website:
# cd /tmp
# ftp http://laminar.ohwg.net/laminar-0.9.8.tar.gz
Unpack the downloaded package:
# tar -xzvf laminar-0.9.8.tar.gz
Navigate to the Laminar directory:
# cd laminar-0.9.8
Build and install Laminar with the following commands:
# ./configure
# make
# make install
Verify that Laminar is successfully installed by running the following command:
# laminar --version
You can now start using Laminar.
