How to install VestaCP on NetBSD

Vesta Control Panel (VestaCP) is an open-source web hosting control panel designed to simplify website management for individuals and website administrators. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to install VestaCP on your NetBSD system.

  1. Update your NetBSD system packages and install necessary packages

sudo pkgin update

sudo pkgin install bash wget curl

  1. Download the VestaCP installation script

curl -O http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install.sh

  1. Run the installation script

bash vst-install.sh

  1. Follow the prompts to customize the installation according to your preferences.

  2. Once the installation is complete, you can access the VestaCP control panel by visiting your server's IP address or hostname on port 8083, for example http://your-server-ip-or-hostname:8083.

  3. Log in to the VestaCP control panel using the default username admin and password admin. We strongly recommend that you change the password as soon as possible.
