Sish is a remote SSH command execution tool that allows you to securely access a server from anywhere in the world. It is available for NetBSD and can be installed easily with a few simple steps.
Before installing sish on NetBSD, you will need to make sure you have a few required tools and libraries installed:
git
make
gcc
Open a terminal and clone the sish repository from GitHub:
git clone https://github.com/antoniomika/sish.git
Change to the sish directory:
cd sish
Build sish using make:
make
If everything was successful, you will have a sish
binary in the directory. Copy it to a directory that is in your system's $PATH
. For example:
cp sish /usr/local/bin/
Run the sish
command to ensure that it is installed correctly:
sish --help
This should display sish's help output.
Congratulations, you have now successfully installed sish on NetBSD! You can now use sish to securely connect to remote servers from anywhere in the world.
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
