Filestash is a web-based file manager that allows you to access your files from anywhere on any device. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install Filestash on OpenBSD.
Before we begin, make sure you have the following installed:
Install Git by running the following command in your OpenBSD terminal:
sudo pkg_add -i git
Clone the Filestash Git repository by running the following command:
git clone https://github.com/mickael-kerjean/filestash.git /usr/local/filestash
Change the ownership of the /usr/local/filestash directory to the _www user by running the following command:
sudo chown -R _www:_www /usr/local/filestash
Navigate to the /usr/local/filestash directory by running the following command:
cd /usr/local/filestash
Install the required dependencies by running the following command:
sudo ./sbin/install_deps.sh
Start the Filestash server by running the following command:
sudo ./sbin/run.sh -p 80
Open your web browser and go to http://localhost to access Filestash.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Filestash on OpenBSD. You can now use Filestash to manage your files from anywhere on any device.
