Installing Hoppscotch on OpenBSD

Steps

  1. Open the terminal and navigate to the directory where you want to download the Hoppscotch application.

  2. Download the latest version of Hoppscotch by visiting the official website https://hoppscotch.io/download.

  3. Click on the "BSD" option under the "Download" section.

  4. A new page will load with a download link. Right-click on the link and copy it.

  5. Return to the terminal and run the following command to download the Hoppscotch application:

$ ftp <paste download link here>
  1. Once the download is complete, navigate to the directory where the file is stored.

  2. Extract the contents of the file using the following command:

$ tar -zxvf hoppscotch-x.x.x.tar.gz (replace x.x.x with the version number of the downloaded file)

$ cd hoppscotch-x.x.x
  1. Run the Hoppscotch application using the following command:
$ ./Hoppscotch-desktop*
  1. Hoppscotch should now be running on your OpenBSD system.
