OpenOlitor is a free and open-source software for managing agricultural cooperatives. This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing OpenOlitor on OpenBSD.
Before proceeding with this tutorial, you need to have the following:
OpenOlitor requires the installation of a few dependencies before it can be installed. Open a terminal and run the following commands to install the necessary dependencies:
$ doas pkg_add node
$ doas pkg_add sqlite3
$ doas pkg_add gcc
Next, you need to clone the OpenOlitor repository from GitHub to your local machine. Open a terminal and run the following command to clone the repository:
$ git clone https://github.com/OpenOlitor/OpenOlitor.git
Once you have cloned the OpenOlitor repository, navigate to the OpenOlitor folder and run the following commands to install OpenOlitor:
$ cd OpenOlitor
$ npm install
After installing OpenOlitor, you need to configure it for use. Copy the config/default.example.json
file to config/default.json
with the following command:
$ cp config/default.example.json config/default.json
You can now edit the config/default.json
file to suit your needs.
To run OpenOlitor, navigate to the OpenOlitor folder and run the following command:
$ npm start
OpenOlitor will now be running on your OpenBSD system. You can access it by opening your web browser and navigating to http://localhost:3000
