Overcast is an open-source podcast player for Mac, iOS, and Watch OS. However, it is also available for Linux users. If you are an OpenSUSE Latest user and want to install Overcast, here is how you can do it.
Flatpak is a package management system that enables the installation of applications in a sandbox environment. Overcast is available as a Flatpak package, so we need to install it first. Open a terminal and run the following command to install Flatpak:
sudo zypper install flatpak
GNOME Software is a graphical app store that allows users to install and manage applications. We need to install it to install Overcast. Run the following command to install GNOME Software:
sudo zypper install gnome-software
GNOME Software doesn't come with Flatpak support enabled by default, so we need to enable it manually. Run the following command to enable Flatpak support:
