Benotes is an open-source note-taking application designed to help you keep track of your notes effortlessly. In this tutorial, we'll walk you through how to install Benotes on POP! OS latest.
Before we get started, you'll need to ensure you have the following:
Open your preferred web browser to the official Benotes website https://benotes.org/download/ and download the latest app image release for your system.
Once the download is completed, open terminal using shortcut Ctrl + Alt + T
Navigate to the download directory by typing cd ~/Downloads/ in the terminal
Mark the downloaded Benotes AppImage file as executable by running the following command:
chmod a+x Benotes-x.x.x.AppImage
Note: Replace 'x.x.x' with the current version of Benotes you downloaded in the filename.
Run the app image using the following command:
./Benotes-x.x.x.AppImage
Again, replace 'x.x.x' with the current version you downloaded in the filename.
