Fussel is a command-line tool that helps you analyze your C/C++ code. In this tutorial, we'll explain how to install Fussel on the latest version of POP! OS.

Step 1: Install Git

The first step is to install Git. We need Git to clone the Fussel repository from GitHub. To install Git, open the terminal and enter the following command:

sudo apt install git

Step 2: Clone the Fussel repository

Next, we need to clone the Fussel repository from GitHub. To do this, open the terminal and enter the following command:

git clone https://github.com/cbenning/fussel.git

This will create a fussel directory in your current directory, which contains the Fussel source code.

Step 3: Install the dependencies

Before we can build and install Fussel, we need to install its dependencies. To do this, run the following command:

sudo apt install cmake clang libclang-dev llvm-dev

Step 4: Build and install Fussel

Now that we have all the dependencies installed, we can build and install Fussel. To do this, navigate to the fussel directory and enter the following commands:

mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make
sudo make install

These commands will create a build directory, generate the build files using CMake, compile the source code using make, and install the Fussel binary to /usr/local/bin/.

Step 5: Verify the installation

To verify that Fussel is installed correctly, open the terminal and enter the following command:

fussel --version

This should display the current version of Fussel that you installed.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed Fussel on POP! OS. You can now use it to analyze your C/C++ code. Have fun!
