Mindustry is a sandbox tower-defense game developed by Anuken. It is widely popular because of its addictive gameplay and is available on many different platforms including Linux. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install Mindustry on Pop!_OS.
Before we begin, please make sure you have the following software installed on your system:
To install Mindustry on Pop!_OS, follow the steps below.
You can open the terminal using the following keyboard shortcut:
Ctrl + Alt + T
Run the following command in Terminal to add the Mindustry package repository to your system:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:anuken/mindustry
You will be prompted to enter your password. Enter your password and press enter.
Run the command below to update the list of available packages:
sudo apt-get update
Run the command below to install Mindustry:
sudo apt-get install mindustry
To start Mindustry, run the command below in the terminal:
mindustry
Mindustry will launch in a new window.
