Installing Mumble on POP! OS Latest:

Step 1: Download Mumble

To download Mumble, go to the official website of Mumble at https://wiki.mumble.info/wiki/Main_Page. Click on "Download" and select the appropriate version for your system.

Step 2: Install Mumble

To install Mumble, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T.
  2. Type the following command to navigate to the directory where you downloaded the Mumble package:
cd Downloads/
  1. Next, extract the downloaded file using the following command:
tar -xjvf mumble-*.*.*.tar.bz2

Note: Replace *.*.* with the version number you downloaded.

  1. Change the directory to the extracted folder using the following command:
cd mumble-*.*.*/

Note: Replace *.*.* with the version number you downloaded.

  1. Run the following command to start the Mumble installer:
sudo ./mumble
  1. The installer will guide you through the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 3: Launch Mumble

To launch Mumble, follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Activities" in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Type "Mumble" in the search bar and click on the Mumble icon.
  3. Mumble will now launch on your system.
