In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to install SoftEther on POP! OS Latest.
Visit https://www.softether.org/ and navigate to the "Download" section. Choose the download link that corresponds to your OS architecture. If you are not sure about your architecture, use the command uname -m
in the terminal.
Extract the downloaded package using the following command:
tar xzvf <SoftEther_package_name>.tar.gz
Using the terminal or file manager, navigate to the extracted directory.
cd <SoftEther_package_name>
Run the following command to compile and install SoftEther:
./configure
make
sudo make install
Now that SoftEther is installed, you can use it by running the following command:
sudo vpnserver start
You can also use vpnclient
to connect to a virtual private network (VPN).
