Betanin is a tool used for measuring network and server performance. This tutorial will guide you through the installation process of Betanin on the latest version of POP! OS using Terminal.
Before installing Betanin, make sure that you have the following prerequisites:
Open Terminal and execute the following command to install the dependencies required for Betanin:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install git build-essential
sudo apt-get install cmake libssl-dev libboost-all-dev
Execute the command to clone the Betanin Git repository:
git clone https://github.com/sentriz/betanin.git
After cloning the repository, enter the newly created betanin directory using the command cd betanin.
Inside the betanin directory, execute the following commands to build Betanin using CMAKE:
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make
After successfully building Betanin, execute the following command to install it on your system:
sudo make install
Verify that Betanin is properly installed on your system by executing the following command:
betanin --help
If Betanin is installed correctly, you should see its help page.
