Fenrus is an open-source platform designed to train and deploy Machine Learning algorithms in a fast and scalable way. This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing Fenrus from the official GitHub repository on your Ubuntu Server.
Open the terminal and update the package lists on your Ubuntu Server.
sudo apt update
Next, install the required packages that are needed to build Fenrus.
sudo apt install libpq-dev libxml2-dev libxslt1-dev libssl-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev
The next step is to clone Fenrus from the official GitHub repository.
git clone https://github.com/revenz/fenrus.git
Once the cloning process is complete, navigate to the Fenrus directory.
cd fenrus
Switch to the latest release branch.
git checkout release/1.0
Install the required Python packages.
pip install -r requirements.txt
Set up environment variables on your Ubuntu Server.
export FLASK_APP=fenrus
export FLASK_ENV=development
export DATABASE_URL='postgresql+psycopg2://your_username:your_password@localhost:5432/your_database_name'
export SEED_URL='http://your_seed_url/'
Start the Fenrus server.
flask run
Once the server is up and running, navigate to the localhost URL in your web browser.
