Before installing MiniNote, make sure you have the following:
MiniNote is built on Node.js, so the first step is to install Node.js on your Ubuntu server. You can do this by running the following commands in your terminal:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install nodejs npm
Once the installation is complete, verify the version of Node.js installed by running:
node –v
To download MiniNote from the GitHub repository, you need to install Git. Run the following command in your terminal to install it:
sudo apt install git
To clone the MiniNote repository, first navigate to the directory where you want to install MiniNote by running:
cd /your/desired/directory/
Then, clone the MiniNote repository by running:
git clone https://github.com/muety/mininote.git

cd mininote
npm install
To start MiniNote, run the command:
npm start
MiniNote will now be running on http://localhost:3000.
To access MiniNote from a browser, open a web browser on your local machine and type the IP address of your Ubuntu server followed by port 3000 (e.g. http://your-server-ip:3000) in the address bar. You should now be able to access MiniNote from your browser.
