How to install Activepieces on Void Linux

Activepieces is a free and open-source productivity tool that is designed to help you capture and organize your thoughts, ideas, and notes. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install Activepieces on Void Linux.

Step 1: Update your system

Before installing any new packages or software, it's a good idea to update your system to make sure you have the latest software packages and security updates. To update your system on Void Linux, open a terminal window and run the following command:

sudo xbps-install -Su

Step 2: Download and install Activepieces

Activepieces is not available in the official Void Linux repositories, so we will need to download and install it manually. Follow the steps below to install Activepieces:

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to the Activepieces website at https://www.activepieces.com/.
  2. Click on the "Download" button at the top of the page to download the latest version of Activepieces.
  3. Once the download is complete, open a terminal window and navigate to the directory where the file was downloaded.
  4. Run the following command to extract the downloaded file:
tar -xvf activepieces-<version>.tar.gz

Replace <version> with the version number of the downloaded file.

  1. Next, navigate to the extracted directory by running the following command:
cd activepieces-<version>

Again, replace <version> with the version number of the downloaded file.

  1. Finally, run the following command to install Activepieces:
sudo ./install

This will install Activepieces on your system.

Step 3: Launch Activepieces

Once Activepieces is installed, you can launch it from the Applications menu or by running the following command in a terminal window:

activepieces
