WikiSuite is a full-featured suite of collaborative and communication tools that is perfect for businesses, organizations, and communities. In this tutorial, you will learn how to install WikiSuite on Void Linux.
Before beginning the installation process, make sure that you have the following prerequisites:
First, update your system to ensure that all packages are up to date.
sudo xbps-install -Su
WikiSuite is not available in the official Void Linux repository. To install WikiSuite, you need to enable the non-free repository first.
To enable the non-free repository, open the xbps-src.conf file located in /etc/xbps.d directory and add the following lines at the end of the file:
repository=https://alpha.de.repo.voidlinux.org/current/non-free
repository=https://alpha.de.repo.voidlinux.org/current/multilib/non-free
Save the file and run the following command to update the repository:
sudo xbps-install -S
Now that the non-free repository is enabled, you can install WikiSuite by running the following command:
sudo xbps-install -S wikisuite
During the installation, you will be prompted to create a database for WikiSuite. Enter a MySQL or MariaDB root user password when prompted.
Once the installation is complete, you can access WikiSuite by entering the server's IP address or domain name in your web browser. The default username and password are both admin.
