How to Install Cowyo on Windows 10

Cowyo is a simple wiki that allows you to post articles on the web built on Google's Go language. Here are the steps to install it on your Windows 10 computer:

Prerequisites

• Go Language installed. If not installed, download it from https://golang.org/dl/ and follow the installation instructions.
• Git installed. If not installed, download it from https://git-scm.com/downloads and follow the installation instructions.

Installation

1. Open the Windows Command Prompt or PowerShell.

2. Clone the Cowyo repository from GitHub by running the following command in the terminal.

git clone https://github.com/schollz/cowyo.git

3. Navigate to the cowyo directory by typing:

cd cowyo

4. Build the executable by running:

go build

5. After building, start the Cowyo server by running:

.\cowyo.exe

You should now be able to access the Cowyo server by opening a web browser and navigating to http://localhost:8050.

Configuration

By default, Cowyo runs on port 8050, but you can change this by specifying the port number when starting the server. If you want to use a different port number, run the following command:

.\cowyo.exe -port <port-number>

Replace <port-number> with the desired port number.
