Databunker is a privacy-enabled, secure storage solution for personal data. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the installation process of Databunker on Windows 10.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have the following:
- A Windows 10 machine
- Administrative access to the machine
- Internet access
Step 1: Download Databunker Installer
- Open your preferred web browser and go to https://databunker.org/
- Click on the "Download" button located on the top right corner of the page.
- Choose the Windows version of the installer and click on the download button.
Step 2: Run the Installer
- Navigate to the downloaded installer file and double-click it.
- Click "Yes" to allow installation of the application.
- In the installation wizard, click "Next" to proceed.
- Read and accept the end user license agreement by selecting the checkbox.
- Choose the destination folder where Databunker will be installed.
- Click "Next" to proceed with the installation process.
- Click "Install" and wait for the installation process to complete.
Step 3: Start Databunker
- Once the installation is completed, click on the "Finish" button.
- Navigate to the installation directory and launch the Databunker application.
- If the Windows Firewall pops up a window asking if you want to allow Databunker access through the firewall, select "Allow Access."
