How to Install EDA on Windows 10

EDA, or Electronic Design Automation, is software used for designing and analyzing electronic circuits. This tutorial will guide you through the process of installing EDA on a Windows 10 computer.

Step 1: Download EDA

  1. Go to https://eda.jortilles.com/en/jortilles-english/ in your web browser.
  2. Click the "Download" button to download the installation file.

Step 2: Install EDA

  1. Double-click the downloaded installation file (it should have a ".exe" file extension) to start the installation process.
  2. Click "Run" if prompted with a security warning.
  3. The EDA installation wizard will appear. Click "Next" to proceed.
  4. Read the license agreement carefully and if you agree, select the checkbox and click "Next."
  5. Choose the destination folder where EDA will be installed, or use the default location, and click "Next."
  6. Choose the components you want to install (you can leave the default options checked) and click "Next."
  7. Create a Start Menu folder for EDA, or leave the default as "JorTec" and click "Next."
  8. Choose whether or not to create a desktop icon for EDA, and click "Next."
  9. Review your installation settings and click "Install" to begin the installation process.
  10. Wait for the installation to complete. This may take a few minutes.

Step 3: Launch EDA

  1. Once the installation is complete, click "Finish" to exit the installation wizard.
  2. Go to the Start Menu or desktop icon to launch EDA.
  3. Start designing and analyzing electronic circuits!
