Introduction
EPrints is an Open Access repository software that makes it easy to set up and manage a digital repository. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the installation process of EPrints on Windows 10 operating system.
Prerequisites
- Windows 10 operating system
- Apache web server installed

Steps
- Download EPrints from https://www.eprints.org/downloads/.
- Extract the downloaded file.
- Move the extracted files to the Apache root directory
C:\Apache24\htdocs\eprints.
- Open command prompt and navigate to the EPrints directory
cd C:\Apache24\htdocs\eprints.
- Run the following command to install EPrints:
C:\Perl64\bin\perl.exe bin\epadmin install_site

- Once the installation is completed, go to the following URL in your web browser
http://localhost/eprints/.
- You will be redirected to the EPrints login page. Use the credentials you provided during installation to log in to the administrator dashboard.
