How to Install Enigma 1-2 BBS on Windows 10

Enigma is a versatile and customizable BBS (Bulletin Board System) software that has been developed over the years. Here are the steps to install Enigma BBS on Windows 10:

Prerequisites

Steps

1. Open the Git Bash terminal on your Windows 10 machine.
2. Clone the Enigma-BBS repository from GitHub using the command below:

git clone https://github.com/nuskooler/enigma-bbs.git

3. With the Git Bash terminal still open, navigate to the folder where the repository has been cloned:

cd enigma-bbs

4. Install the required dependencies using Node Package Manager (npm) by running the command:

npm install

5. After the installation process, start the Enigma BBS using the command:

node .

6. The console should display the Enigma logo and menu options, meaning the BBS is now up and running.
