Fenrus is a free and open-source tool for password cracking developed by Revenz. You can install Fenrus on your Windows 10 machine by following these steps:
Install Python 3:
Install Git:
Clone the Fenrus repository:
Open Command Prompt or Git Bash
Navigate to the directory where you want to install Fenrus
Run the following command:
git clone https://github.com/revenz/fenrus.git
Install Fenrus dependencies:
In Command Prompt or Git Bash, navigate to the "fenrus" directory
Run the following command to install the required Python modules:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Test Fenrus:
In Command Prompt or Git Bash, navigate to the "fenrus" directory
Run the following command to test Fenrus with a sample hash:
python fenrus.py --hash 5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99
You should see the expected output: "Password is: password"
