How to install Fenrus on Windows 10

Fenrus is a free and open-source tool for password cracking developed by Revenz. You can install Fenrus on your Windows 10 machine by following these steps:

  1. Install Python 3:

  2. Install Git:

    • Download the Git command line installer from its official website (https://git-scm.com/download/win)
    • Run the installer and follow the instructions to complete the installation
  3. Clone the Fenrus repository:

    • Open Command Prompt or Git Bash

    • Navigate to the directory where you want to install Fenrus

    • Run the following command:

      git clone https://github.com/revenz/fenrus.git
      
  4. Install Fenrus dependencies:

    • In Command Prompt or Git Bash, navigate to the "fenrus" directory

    • Run the following command to install the required Python modules:

      pip install -r requirements.txt
      
  5. Test Fenrus:

    • In Command Prompt or Git Bash, navigate to the "fenrus" directory

    • Run the following command to test Fenrus with a sample hash:

      python fenrus.py --hash 5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99
