Genea.app is a genealogy web app that allows you to create a family tree, store records and photos, and explore your family history. Here are the steps to install Genea.app on Windows 10:
Go to https://www.genea.app/ and click on the "Download" button at the top of the page.
Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file by double-clicking on it. The file is named GeneaSetup.exe.
If your computer displays a security warning message, click on "Run" to proceed with the installation.
The Genea installation wizard will launch. Follow the prompts to install the app on your computer. You can choose the installation location, create a desktop shortcut, and select the language of the app.
Once the installation is complete, click on the "Finish" button to exit the installer.
Go to your desktop or start menu and look for the Genea.app shortcut. Double-click on it to launch the app.
If this is your first time using Genea.app, you'll need to create an account. Click on the "Sign Up" button and enter your email address and a secure password to create your account.
Once you've created an account, you'll be taken to the Genea.app dashboard. From here, you can start building your family tree, adding records and photos, and exploring your family history.
