  3. Save the downloaded file to a location on your computer.

Step 2: Install Gerbera

  1. Once the download is complete, go to the location where you saved the file and double-click on it.

  5. Choose the location where you want Gerbera to be installed and click "Install."
  6. Once the installation is complete, click "Finish."

Step 3: Configure Gerbera

Step 4: Connect to Gerbera

  1. Once the server has restarted, you can access Gerbera from any device on your network by opening a web browser and typing in the IP address of the machine on which Gerbera is installed, followed by the port number used by Gerbera, which is 49152 by default. For example, if the IP address of the machine on which Gerbera is installed is 192.168.1.10, you would type "http://192.168.1.10:49152" in the web browser.
  2. You should now see the Gerbera web interface, where you can browse and play your media files.

Congratulations, you've successfully installed Gerbera on your Windows 10 machine!

If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!

Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
