How to Install Gerrit on Windows 10

Step 1: Prerequisites

Step 2: Download Gerrit

Visit https://www.gerritcodereview.com/download.html and download the latest stable Gerrit version for Windows.

Step 3: Install Gerrit

  1. Extract the downloaded Gerrit file and copy it to the desired installation directory.
  2. Open cmd.exe and navigate to the Gerrit installation directory.
  3. Use the following command to start the Gerrit setup wizard:
java -jar gerrit.war init -d <directory>

Note: Replace <directory> with the path of your desired Gerrit installation directory.

  1. The setup wizard will prompt you for some settings such as authentication, database and server settings. Follow the prompts and input the required information.
  2. Once you have completed the setup wizard, Gerrit will start to run on the specified port from the configuration.
