GetSimple CMS is a lightweight and easy-to-use content management system for creating small to medium-sized websites. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to install GetSimple CMS on Windows 10.
The first step is to download GetSimple CMS from the official website: http://get-simple.info/. Click on the "Download" button on the homepage and choose the latest stable version of the CMS. The downloaded file will be in ZIP format.
Extract the downloaded ZIP file to any location on your computer. You can use any extraction tool like the built-in Windows 10 extraction tool or any third-party tool like 7-zip.
To run GetSimple CMS on Windows 10, we need to install XAMPP - an open-source software for creating web servers. Download XAMPP from the official website: https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html. Choose the latest version of XAMPP for Windows and download it.
After you have downloaded XAMPP, run the installation file and follow the installation wizard. In the installation wizard, select the components you want to install. We recommend selecting Apache, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin.

Open phpMyAdmin in your web browser by going to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/. Create a new database by clicking on the "New" button on the left-hand side of the screen. Enter a name for your database and select "utf8_general_ci" as the collation.
Open your web browser and go to the GetSimple CMS installation page by going to http://localhost/your-folder-name/admin/install.php. Follow the installation wizard to set up your website. Enter the MySQL database details and create an administrator account. After completing the installation, you can access your website at http://localhost/your-folder-name/.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed GetSimple CMS on your Windows 10 computer. You can now start creating your website by logging in to the admin panel.
