Hawkpost is a web-based service that allows users to send and receive encrypted messages. To use this service on your Windows 10 machine, you need to follow the steps outlined below:
Prerequisites
- A computer with Windows 10 installed
- An internet connection
- A web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)
Installation Steps:
- Open your web browser and go to the Hawkpost website: https://hawkpost.co/
- Click on the "Get Started" button in the middle of the screen.
- Fill in the necessary information, such as your name and email address, and click on "Sign Up" to create a new account.
- After creating your account, you will be redirected to the Hawkpost dashboard. From here, click on the “Create a new message” button.
- Compose your encrypted message, and then click on the "Send" button to send it.
- After clicking on the "Send" button, you will be prompted to download the "Response Page" HTML file. This file contains a decryption key that will be required by the recipient to decrypt your message.
- Click on the "Download" button, and save the file to your preferred location on your Windows 10 machine.
- Once the download has completed, open the "Response Page" HTML file with any web browser.
- You will be prompted to enter the decryption key. Enter the key that you sent to the recipient, or that the recipient sends back to you.
- The decrypted message will be displayed on your screen.
Congratulations! You have just installed and used Hawkpost on your Windows 10 machine.
