Kibana is an open source data visualization and exploration tool that provides visualizations and dashboards for Elasticsearch data. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing Kibana on Windows 10.
Before we begin, make sure you have the following:
kibana.yml
file located in the extracted Kibana directory using a text editor.elasticsearch.hosts
setting, enter the URL of the Elasticsearch instance you want to connect Kibana with. For example, elasticsearch.hosts: http://localhost:9200
.kibana.yml
file..\bin\kibana.bat
http://localhost:5601
, which is the default URL for Kibana.Congratulations! You have successfully installed Kibana on your Windows 10 system. You can now start visualizing and exploring your Elasticsearch data using Kibana.
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
