Mobilizon is an open source and decentralized event organizing software that enables users to create, coordinate, and share events without relying on commercial platforms. In this tutorial, we will explain how to install Mobilizon on Windows 10.
Before you can install Mobilizon, you need to have the following:
Download and install Docker Desktop on your machine. You can download it from the official Docker website here.
Once you have Docker Desktop installed, launch the application and ensure that it is running in the background.
Open your terminal or command prompt and navigate to a directory where you want to install Mobilizon.
Clone the Mobilizon repository from the official Mobilizon GitLab page by running the following command:
git clone https://framagit.org/framasoft/mobilizon.git
cd mobilizon
docker-compose build
docker-compose up
Once the server has started, open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000.
Mobilizon should now be running on your machine. You can create a new account by clicking on the "Create Account" button on the top right corner of the page.
