How to Install Neko on Windows 10

Neko is an open-source software that runs on the Windows platform allowing you to create, develop and execute a multitude of scripts. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install Neko on Windows 10.

Prerequisites

Installation Steps

  1. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the official Neko website at https://neko.m1k1o.net.
  2. Scroll down and click on the "Download" button under the "Windows" section.
  3. Wait for the download to complete.
  4. After the download is finished, navigate to the folder where you saved the Neko zip file.
  5. Extract the zip file by right-clicking on it and selecting the "Extract All" option.
  6. Choose a suitable location for the extracted folder and click on the "Extract" button.
  7. Navigate to the folder containing the extracted files and double click on the "neko.exe" file.
  8. If prompted with a Security Warning, click on the "More info" button and then select the "Run anyway" button.
  9. Follow the prompts to install the necessary components if prompted to do so.
  10. Once the installation is complete, you can start using Neko by typing "neko" in the command prompt.
