In this tutorial, you will learn how to install Newtelco Tab which is available on GitHub. Newtelco Tab is a web application that allows interns and new employees to interface with the company's databases.
Before you begin with the installation process, make sure you have installed the following software:
Follow the below steps to install Newtelco Tab on Windows10:
Open the Command Prompt or PowerShell by pressing the Windows Key
+ R
and typing cmd
in the Run window.
Go to the directory where you want to install Newtelco Tab using the following command:
cd <path_to_directory>
Clone the newtelco-tab
repository using the following command:
git clone https://github.com/ndom91/newtelco-tab.git
This will create a new directory named newtelco-tab
. Navigate to the newtelco-tab
directory using the following command:
cd newtelco-tab
Next, install the required dependencies for Newtelco Tab using the following command:
npm install
Once the installation is complete, start the application using the following command:
npm start
By default, the application will open in your default web browser. If it doesn't, you can access it by opening your web browser and entering the following URL: http://localhost:3000
Note: If you want to stop the application, you can use CTRL+C
in the terminal to stop the npm start
command.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed the Newtelco Tab on your Windows 10 machine. You can now use this web application to interface with your company's databases.
