Here are the steps to install Open Source POS on Windows 10:
Download Open Source POS from https://github.com/opensourcepos/opensourcepos by clicking the "Code" button and selecting "Download ZIP". Save the ZIP file to your preferred location.
Extract the downloaded ZIP file to your computer.
Move the extracted folder to your XAMPP htdocs directory. The htdocs directory is usually located at C:\xampp\htdocs. You can rename the folder to opensourcepos.
Launch the XAMPP control panel and start the Apache and MySQL servers.
Open a web browser and type localhost/phpmyadmin in the address bar. This should open the phpMyAdmin page.
Click on the "New" button and create a new database called opensourcepos (without the quotes).
Import the opensourcepos.sql file located in the database folder of the opensourcepos directory you extracted earlier. To do this, click on the Import tab in phpMyAdmin and select the file.
Open a web browser and type localhost/opensourcepos in the address bar. This should open the Open Source POS installer.
Follow the instructions provided by the installer to complete the installation process.
