How to Install Peergos on Windows 10

Peergos is a distributed, privacy-focused file storage and sharing platform. Here's how to install it on a Windows 10 computer.

Prerequisites

Installation

  1. Download the Peergos client for Windows from the official website https://peergos.org/download.
  2. Click on the downloaded file to start the installation.
  3. A new window will appear, prompting you to select the language you want to use during the installation process. Click on the "OK" button to proceed.
  4. In the next window, read and accept the terms of the license agreement by selecting the "I accept the agreement" checkbox and clicking on the "Next" button.
  5. Choose the installation folder for Peergos on your computer. If you want to use the default folder, click on the "Next" button.
  6. Select the additional tasks you want to perform during the installation process. If you want to create a startup shortcut or add Peergos to the system's path, check the corresponding boxes. Click on the "Next" button to continue.
  7. Confirm the installation by clicking on the "Install" button.
  8. Wait for the installation process to complete. It may take a few minutes depending on your computer's speed.
  9. Once the installation is complete, click on the "Finish" button to exit the installation wizard.

Running Peergos

  1. Open the Windows start menu and search for "Peergos" in the search bar.
