ProjeQtOr is an open-source project management software that allows users to manage their projects from a single platform. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to install ProjeQtOr on a Windows 10 PC.
Before we begin, you need to ensure that your system meets the following requirements:
Begin by downloading the latest version of ProjeQtOr from the official website: https://www.projeqtor.org/download
Extract the downloaded archive to your desired location.
Move the extracted files to your web server directory. For example, if you are using XAMPP, the default web server directory is C:\xampp\htdocs.
Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost/projeqtor/install to start the installation process.
On the first screen, select your preferred language and click the "Next" button.
The installer will perform a system requirements check. If everything is green, click the "Next" button.
On the following screen, enter your MySQL database details, including the database name, username, and password. If you don't have a database, create one and then come back to this step.
Click the "Next" button once your database details have been entered.
On the next screen, enter your admin credentials, including username and password. These credentials will be used to log in to ProjeQtOr.
Click the "Install" button to start the installation process.
Wait for the installer to complete the installation. Once complete, you will see a "Success" message.
Click the "Next" button to configure some additional settings.
On the next screen, enter your SMTP email server details or leave it blank if you don't want to configure it now.
Click the "Next" button to complete the installation.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed ProjeQtOr.
