How to Install SuiteCRM on Windows 10

Prerequisites

Before you begin the installation process, make sure you have the following:

• A computer running Windows 10
• Latest version of XAMPP installed
• Download the latest SuiteCRM version from https://suitecrm.com

Installation Steps

Follow these steps to install SuiteCRM on your Windows 10 operating system:

1. Extract the SuiteCRM downloaded file to c:\xampp\htdocs\ or to a different directory if you wish.

2. Open your XAMPP Control Panel and click on the Start button for both Apache and MySQL.

3. Open your web browser and go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/.

4. Create a new database by clicking on the New button.

5. Enter a name for your database and click the Create button.

6. In your web browser, go to the http://localhost/ URL and click on the SuiteCRM folder.

7. Follow the on-screen instructions to install SuiteCRM.

8. During the installation process, enter the following details when prompted:

• Server: localhost
• Username: root
• Password: leave it blank
• Database Name: The name of the database you created earlier

9. After completing the installation process, click on the Admin button to access your SuiteCRM dashboard.
