Taiga is a project management tool designed for agile teams. To install it on Windows 10, you need to follow the steps outlined below.
Before you begin installing Taiga, you need to ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
You can get the latest version of Taiga by cloning its repository from GitHub. Open a command prompt or Git Bash and run the following command:
git clone https://github.com/taigaio/taiga-front-dist.git
This will download the Taiga source code to your local machine.
Navigate to the cloned Taiga directory by running the following command:
cd taiga-front-dist
Next, install Taiga's dependencies by running:
npm install

Build Taiga by running:
npm run build

Copy example.env
to .env

Clone the Taiga-backend repository by running the following command:
git clone https://github.com/taigaio/taiga-back.git
Install the dependencies:
cd taiga-back
npm install
Copy python-settings.docker.example.env
to python-settings.docker.env
by running:
cp python-settings.docker.example.env python-settings.docker.env
Open python-settings.docker.env
in a text editor and set the following values:
PUBLIC_REGISTER_ENABLED=True
API_SCHEME=http
API_DOMAIN=localhost
Run the following command to start the Taiga-backend:
docker-compose up
Open a new command prompt or Git Bash and navigate to the taiga-front-dist
directory. Run the following command to start the Taiga-frontend:
npm start
Taiga should now be running on localhost:9001
. Open your browser and navigate to that address to access Taiga.
