If you want to install VictoriaMetrics on your Windows 10 machine, then follow these steps:
First, you need to go to the VictoriaMetrics GitHub repository.
Once you're on the repository, click on the "Releases" tab. This will take you to the latest releases that they have.
Download the latest release by clicking on the .zip
file. Make sure that you download the windows-amd64
file since you're using Windows 10.
Once the download is complete, extract the contents of the .zip
file to any location on your computer.
Open the extracted folder and look for the victoria-metrics-prod.exe
file. Right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator" to execute the file. This will start the VictoriaMetrics server on your Windows 10 machine.
Once the server is up and running, you should be able to access VictoriaMetrics on your browser at http://localhost:8428/
