This tutorial will guide you through the installation process of b2evolution CMS on Windows 10 using XAMPP.
Step 1: Download and Install XAMPP
- Download the latest version of XAMPP for Windows.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the installation wizard.
- Choose the components you need to install. Make sure that Apache, MySQL, and PHP are checked.
- Choose the installation folder, and complete the installation process.
Step 2: Download and Extract b2evolution CMS
- Download the latest version of b2evolution CMS for Windows.
- Extract the downloaded file to the
htdocs
folder of your XAMPP installation folder. The default location is C:\xampp\htdocs

Step 3: Create a Database
- Open the XAMPP Control Panel.
- Start the Apache and MySQL services.
- Open your web browser and go to
http://localhost/phpmyadmin/

- Click the "New" button to create a new database.
- Enter a name for the new database and click the "Create" button.
Step 4: Configure b2evolution CMS
- Open your web browser and go to
http://localhost/b2evolution/

- Select your preferred language and click the "Next" button.
- Read and accept the license agreement, and click the "Next" button.
- Enter the database details:
- Type: MySQL
- Server: localhost
- Username: root
- Password: (leave blank)

- Administrator username
