Geany is a popular open-source code editor that supports many programming languages. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps to install Geany on Windows 11.
Visit the official Geany website at http://www.geany.org/ to download the latest installer for Windows. Once you are on the website, click on the "Download" button located on the homepage.
After the download is completed, open the installer by double-clicking the downloaded file. Click "Yes" to allow the installer to make changes to your PC.
You will be presented with the welcome screen of the Geany installer. Click on the "Next" button to proceed.

You will be asked to create a shortcut for Geany. By default, a desktop shortcut will be created, and you can leave it unchanged. Click "Next" to proceed.
Finally, click on the "Install" button to begin the installation process. Wait for the installer to complete the installation, and then click "Finish."
Geany is now installed on your Windows 11 PC. To launch Geany, click on the desktop shortcut, or you can locate it in the Start Menu by searching for "Geany."
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Geany on your Windows 11 PC. You can now use Geany to write and edit code in your preferred programming language.
