How to Install IceHrm on Windows 11

IceHrm is a web-based Human Resource Management system developed by the Creativeitem company. It is packed with features such as employee management, attendance tracking, leave management, salary management, and more. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to install IceHrm on Windows 11.

Prerequisites

Before installing IceHrm, ensure that you have the following requirements:

• Windows 11 operating system
• XAMPP installation package downloaded from the official website

Step 1: Install XAMPP

1. Go to the official XAMPP website and download the latest version that is compatible with Windows 11.
2. Run the downloaded XAMPP installation package.
3. Follow the prompts to install XAMPP on your system.

Step 2: Download IceHrm

1. Go to the official IceHrm website and download the latest version of the application.
2. Extract the downloaded IceHrm zip file to the XAMPP installation directory.

Step 3: Configure XAMPP

1. Open the XAMPP Control Panel.
2. Click the "Apache" and "MySQL" checkboxes to start the Apache and MySQL servers.
3. Click the "Config" button near the Apache checkbox, and select "Apache (httpd.conf)".
4. Find the following lines of code in the opened file and remove the '#' symbol from the beginning of each line:

5. Click the "Save" button to save the changes.
6. Click the "Config" button near the MySQL checkbox, and select "my.ini".
7. Find the following lines of code in the opened file and remove the '#' symbol from the beginning of each line:

#bind-address = ::1

8. Click the "Save" button to save the changes.

Step 4: Access IceHrm

1. Open your web browser.
2. Enter http://localhost/icehrm in the address bar to access the IceHrm login page.
3. Enter the default username and password: admin and admin.
4. Click the "Login" button to access IceHrm.
