LibreServer is a free and open-source self-hosted server management platform that allows you to easily deploy and manage a variety of web applications. This tutorial will guide you on how to install LibreServer on Windows 11.
Before you begin, make sure you have the following prerequisites:
First, you need to download the LibreServer installer from https://libreserver.org. Click the "Download Now" button present on the homepage, which will then take you to a page containing the download links for the LibreServer installer.
Once you have downloaded the LibreServer installer, find the downloaded file on your machine and double-click to open it.
The installer will then start. You will be presented with the installation wizard. Click on "Next" to proceed.
You will now see the License Agreement. Read through the License Agreement and click on "I Agree" to proceed.
In the next step, select the destination folder where you want to install LibreServer. The default location is in the "C:\LibreServer" directory. Click on "Next" once you have selected the installation directory.
In the next step, select the components to install. By default, all components are selected, and you don't need to modify anything here. Click on "Next" again to proceed.
Now select the Start Menu folder where you want to create LibreServer shortcuts. You can leave this as the default or choose to create a new folder. Click on "Next" again to proceed.
In the next step, you need to select the installation type. Choose "Full" installation type, which will install LibreServer along with all the necessary components. Click on "Next" to proceed.
Finally, review your installation options and click on "Install" to begin the installation process.
The installer will now begin to install LibreServer. Wait for a while till the installation is complete.
Once the installation finishes, click on the "Finish" button to complete the installation.
At this point, LibreServer is successfully installed on your Windows 11 machine. You can now start using it by opening LibreServer from the Start menu or by typing "LibreServer" in the search bar.
