Podgrab is a command-line tool for downloading podcast episodes. Here's how to install Podgrab on Windows 11.
Open Windows Terminal: To open the Windows Terminal, press the Start button and start typing "Windows Terminal" in the search bar. Once you see it in the search results, click the Windows Terminal app to launch.
Install Chocolately: Chocolately is a package manager for Windows that will make it easy to install Podgrab. To install Chocolately, copy and paste the following command into Windows Terminal and then press enter:
Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force; [System.Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = [System.Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol -bor 3072; iex ((New-Object System.Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://community.chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))
Install Podgrab: Now that Chocolately is installed, you can use it to install Podgrab. Copy and paste the following command into Windows Terminal and then press enter:
choco install podgrab
Verify the Installation: To make sure Podgrab was installed correctly, type the following command and press enter:
podgrab --version
If the installation was successful, you should see the version number of Podgrab.
