How to Install PufferPanel on Windows 11

PufferPanel is an open-source, user-friendly game server management panel that allows hosting several games, including Minecraft, CS:GO, and Rust easily. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the step-by-step guide to install PufferPanel on Windows 11.

Prerequisites

Before we begin with the installation process, you need to ensure that your system meets the below requirements:

Download PufferPanel

  1. Go to the official PufferPanel website, https://www.pufferpanel.com/.
  2. Scroll down and click on the Download button under the "Build from source" section.
  3. Extract the downloaded archive to your desired location. In this guide, I am extracting the files to my *C:* directory.

Install PufferPanel

  1. Open up the PowerShell terminal by pressing the Windows Key + X together and selecting the Windows PowerShell option from the menu.
  2. Navigate to the extracted PufferPanel files directory by running the command:
cd C:\pufferpanel-master

Note: Replace C:\pufferpanel-master with your extracted files directory path.

  1. Type the following command to install PufferPanel on Windows 11:
.\pufferpanel.bat install
  1. Wait for the installation process to complete successfully. It might take a few minutes to install PufferPanel, depending on your system specifications.

  2. Finally, to start the PufferPanel service on Windows 11, run the following command:

.\pufferpanel.bat start

Configuring PufferPanel

  1. To access the PufferPanel web interface, open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080.

  2. You will be prompted to create an account. Fill in the required details and click on Create an account.

  3. Login to the PufferPanel web interface dashboard and add your game server by following the on-screen instructions.
