RosarioSIS is a free and open-source Student Information System that is ideal for schools, colleges, and academies. In this tutorial, we will show you how to install RosarioSIS on Windows 11.
Before we begin, make sure you have the following:
XAMPP and WAMP are popular web servers that allow you to host applications on your local machine. You can choose either of them based on your preference or familiarity.
Here’s how to install XAMPP on Windows 11:
Go to the official RosarioSIS website and download the latest stable version of RosarioSIS.
Extract the downloaded RosarioSIS folder into the htdocs folder of XAMPP or WAMP. The htdocs folder is usually located at “C:\xampp\htdocs\” or “C:\wamp\www\” for XAMPP and WAMP, respectively.
Open your preferred web browser and go to “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”. This will open the phpMyAdmin interface.
Once you’ve finished the installation, you can access your RosarioSIS instance by entering “http://localhost/RosarioSIS/” in your web browser. Enter your login credentials that you set up during the installation process to access the dashboard.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully installed RosarioSIS on Windows 11.
If you want to self-host in an easy, hands free way, need an external IP address, or simply want your data in your own hands, give IPv6.rs a try!
Alternatively, for the best virtual desktop, try Shells!
