How to Install Snapdrop on Windows 11

Requirements

Steps

1. Open your preferred web browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Firefox) and go to the Snapdrop homepage by entering https://snapdrop.net/ in the URL search bar.

2. Click on the "Windows Store" logo located on the bottom right corner of the screen to download the Snapdrop app from the Microsoft Store.

3. The Microsoft Store will automatically open and take you to the Snapdrop app page. Click on the "Get" button to download and install the app.

4. Once the Snapdrop app has been installed, the Microsoft Store will display a notification that says "You own this app" with a "Launch" button.

5. Click on the "Launch" button to open the Snapdrop app.

6. You can now use Snapdrop to share files between devices on your local network by dragging and dropping files to the Snapdrop interface or clicking on the "Browse" button to select files from your computer.

7. To receive files from another device, simply open Snapdrop on the device and the connection will be automatically established.
