The Epube is a plugin for Tiny Tiny RSS (TT-RSS) which converts RSS feeds to epub format. In this tutorial, we will go through the steps to install The Epube on a Windows 11 computer.
Before we begin, make sure you have the following installed on your Windows 11 computer:
Download the latest version of The Epube from https://tt-rss.org/the-epube/archive/master.zip
Extract the zip file into the TT-RSS plugins folder. This folder is usually located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Tiny Tiny RSS\plugins
.
Open the command prompt by pressing the Windows key + R, typing cmd
, and pressing Enter.
Change directory to the epube folder using the following command:
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tiny Tiny RSS\plugins\epube-master"
Note: If you extracted the zip file to a different location, replace the path above with the correct path to the epube folder.
python -m pip install -r requirements.txt
Note: If you have multiple Python versions installed on your computer, make sure to use the correct version of pip.
Configure The Epube by copying the epube.ini.example
file to epube.ini
and modifying the settings as needed.
Finally, enable The Epube plugin in TT-RSS settings by going to Preferences
> Plugins
and clicking the checkbox next to The Epube
.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed The Epube on your Windows 11 computer. Now, you can use it to convert RSS feeds to epub format in TT-RSS.
