Warpgate is a tool for securely transporting data across different platforms, and it's available for free on GitHub. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the installation process for Warpgate on Windows 11.
Before we get started, make sure that you have already installed the following software on your Windows 11 system:
Open the Command Prompt by pressing the Win+X
keys simultaneously and selecting "Windows Terminal (Admin)".
Use the cd
command to navigate to the directory where you want to install the Warpgate application. For example, type the following command to navigate to your desktop:
cd C:\Users\<username>\Desktop
Run the following command to clone the Warpgate repository from GitHub:
git clone https://github.com/warp-tech/warpgate.git
Once the repository has been cloned, navigate to the Warpgate directory:
cd warpgate
Run the following command to install the Python dependencies required for Warpgate:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Once the dependencies are installed, you can now run Warpgate:
python -m warpgate
Warpgate is now fully installed and ready to use on your Windows 11 system. You can start securely transporting your data with Warpgate!
