Checkmk is an open-source monitoring software that allows IT professionals to monitor their IT infrastructure, such as servers, networks, applications, and cloud resources. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to install Checkmk on Windows 11.
Before starting, make sure your system meets the following requirements:
Go to the official Checkmk website by visiting the following link: checkmk.com/download.php">https://checkmk.com/download.php
Click on the "Download Checkmk" button to go to the download page.
From the download page, scroll down, and choose the Windows version that best matches your system.
Once you have selected the correct version, click on the "Download" button to download the Checkmk installer file.
After downloading the installer, navigate to the downloads folder on your Windows 11 system.
Double-click the Checkmk installer file to start the installation process.
If a security warning pops up, click "Run" to continue.
Checkmk's setup wizard will now launch. Follow the prompts to complete the installation process.

To access Checkmk web interface, open your preferred web browser, and type in the following URL: http://localhost/check_mk/
You will now be asked to log in for the first time. Enter "cmkadmin" as the username, and "omd" as the password.
After logging in, you can start using Checkmk to monitor your IT infrastructure.
