EteSync is an encrypted and privacy-respecting sync service for contacts, calendars, tasks, and notes. EteSync Web is its companion web client that allows you to access your EteSync account from any modern browser.
In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps to install EteSync Web on macOS.
Before you start, make sure you have the following:
Open your web browser and go to the following URL: https://www.etesync.com/faq/#web-client
Click on the "Install" button next to the "macOS" option.
The download of the EteSync Web macOS app package will start automatically. Once the download is complete, open Finder, and go to the "Downloads" folder.
Locate the EteSync Web app package file in the "Downloads" folder. It should be named "etebrowser-VERSION.dmg".
Double-click on the EteSync Web app package file. This will open a virtual disk image containing the app icon.
Drag the EteSync Web app icon to the "Applications" folder icon.
Wait for the file copying to complete.
Open the "Applications" folder.
Locate the EteSync Web app icon and double-click it to open.
Enter your EteSync account credentials (email address and password) and click on the "Log In" button.
Once you're successfully logged in, you can start using EteSync Web to access your synced contacts, calendars, tasks, and notes.
